Because of the on-going effects of the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic, the Society was unable to hold any meetings in 2021.
As a result the Society’s 2020/2021 AGM has yet to be held.

The Way Ahead
Pending a decision on any more formal arrangements, the Society is continuing to operate informally with John Talbot as Chair and an ad hoc Committee comprising Julie McDonnell (Secretary), Tracey Talbot (Treasurer), Mary Thompson and Bill Hanks, but without paying members. Any activities (meetings, talks or visits etc) will be organised on a one-off self-funding basis for the time being.

Aims of the Society
- To promote an interest in local history among residents of Sutton Courtenay and the surrounding district by holding regular meetings and inviting guest speakers.
- To undertake research on the history of the village and its neighbourhood.
- To encourage and support research into family history.
