Cothill House was established as a school by C W Carles in 1870 in Meriden, Warwickshire, but moved to its present premises (pictured here) in 1879. The school was acquired by Messrs Dauglish and Knowles in 1894 and has remained a private school under other management since then, albeit becoming a charitable trust in 1969.
